Who is Robbie Travers?


Robbie Travers(@RobbieTravers) is the Founder and Executive Director of Agora and is responsible for policy, development and strategy.

Further to this leadership, he is also the Media Manager at the Human Security Centre, as well as being an advisor to several different organisations. Born in London, Robbie is a political enthusiast, who has considerable expertise in Middle Eastern affairs, British, Scottish and International politics, EU affairs, and legal and economic matters. At the University of Edinburgh, Robbie is pursuing his passion as a 1st year student of law. In Model United Nations conferences across the UK and beyond, Robbie has achieved “Best Delegate” multiple times, and has participated in multiple civil society conferences.

He is a fundamental believer in equality and that helping others internationally is something we should all aspire to. Robbie is also a Blairite, a supporter of the European Union, an Atlanticist and a strong supporter of Scotland’s Better Together campaign. Robbie’s expertise goes beyond the aforementioned areas, being an avid political analyst, with much sought after advice. Robbie has featured in the Business Insider and has had work published with Left Foot Forward.
